Welcome to Stay Aligned - A Space Built for You
I am so glad you are here.
My name is Alesandra Folks, and I am the founder of Stay Aligned LLC. I created this space because I needed it to exist. After more than 10 years of walking a path rooted in spiritual practice, holistic wellness, and community care. I wanted a place where all of that could come together. A place that felt real, intentional, and welcoming to people who have not always felt welcomed.
If you have ever felt like wellness was not built for your brain, your body, your community, or your identity, this is for you. Pull up a chair.
A Little About Me
I grew up as a neurodivergent eldest daughter in a first-generation Latin American household. It was a lot. There was a plethora of pressure with few resources. There were challenges that I did not have words for at the time, and often spaces that were not built with me in mind. The mainstream wellness world was one of them. The rigid routines, the overstimulating environments, and the advice that assumed a neurotypical brain left me feeling like alignment wasn't possible. It often felt like it was written for someone else.
However, those experiences shaped me. They pushed me to find what actually worked for my brain and body. Simple daily habits like journaling and accommodations are rooted in intentionally caring for my mind, body, and spirit. Practices like shadow work taught me to understand my own patterns instead of fighting them. I found tools that met me where I was, allowing me to feel my goals were possible.
That is what I bring to Stay Aligned. Everything here is chosen because it works in real life, for real people, including those of us whose minds work a little differently.
I have spent years studying and practicing cannabis education, shadow work, and holistic wellness. Not only from a textbook, but also from living it.
Cannabis is one of the areas I am passionate about educating people on. For many communities, especially communities of color and neurodivergent people, cannabis has long been a tool for managing stress, supporting sleep, easing pain, and finding stillness. Long before it became a wellness trend, people were using it intentionally and quietly. I believe in bringing that conversation into the light, with honesty, care, and real information.
I believe in meeting your body where it is, with whatever tools support your healing. That is what this space is about.
What Stay Aligned Is About
I believe alignment is something you practice, not something you arrive at. Growth happens slowly, one day at a time, one small choice at a time. That is the heartbeat of this brand.
When I am aligned, I feel it. I move through the day with intention. I feel connected to myself and to what matters. And when I am not aligned, I feel that too. The scattered mornings, the reactive moments, the sense of being a little disconnected from who I know I am. Most of us know that feeling.
What I have learned is that alignment is not about being perfect or having it all together. It is about noticing when you have drifted and choosing to come back. That one small choice, the journaling, nourishing the senses, the five minutes of stillness, that is the practice. That is what staying aligned actually looks like.
Staying aligned does not mean you never fall off. It means you keep coming back. One day at a time, one choice at a time.
Everything I carry in this shop is chosen with care. From journals that help you start your shadow work, to sea moss gel that nourishes your body, to tools that support your spiritual practice. It all belongs together because your mind, body, and spirit all belong together.
Tarot and Oracle Readings as a Wellness Tool
One of the tools I come back to again and again is tarot and oracle reading. I know that for some people, that word carries a lot of weight. But I want to offer a different way of thinking about it.
The cards are not about predicting the future. They are a mirror. They give you a prompt, an image, a question you might not have thought to ask yourself. When you sit with a card and ask what it means for you right now, you are practicing something powerful. You are slowing down, tuning in, and listening to yourself.
That is wellness. That is alignment.
Divination has been part of my practice for over a decade. It is one of the ways I check in with myself, notice where I might be drifting, and reconnect with my intuition. You do not need to be spiritual or have any experience to start. You just need curiosity and a willingness to sit with yourself for a few minutes. That is it.
If you have ever been curious about tarot or oracle cards, this is just the beginning. I will be dedicating entire posts to how you can use them as part of your wellness practice, from how to choose your first deck to how to build a simple reading ritual that actually fits your life. Stay close.
All of these tools, the journals, the cards, the practices, they mean more when you feel like you actually belong in the space holding them.
You Belong Here
As a member of the LGBT+ community and a descendant of indigenous Salvadoran grandmothers, I know what it feels like to walk into a wellness space and wonder if it was made for you. I want Stay Aligned to be different. And I want to be clear about what that actually means, because saying you are a safe space is easy. Living it is something else.
Being a safe space here means that the conversations we have are real. It means that Latin American healing traditions, plant medicine, and ancestral wisdom are not footnotes. They are part of the foundation. So much of what the wellness industry sells as new has existed in our communities for generations. I want to honor that, not erase it.
It means that being queer and spiritual is not a contradiction. For many of us in the LGBT+ community, organized religion left wounds. Building a spiritual life on your own terms, one that actually fits who you are, is its own kind of healing. That journey is welcome here.
It means we talk about community care alongside self-care. The wellness industry loves to tell us to pour into ourselves first. And yes, that matters. But in many of our communities, healing has never been just personal. It has always been collective. We heal in a relationship with each other. That truth belongs in this space too.
And it means that visibility is not an afterthought. When you see yourself reflected in a wellness brand, something shifts. You stop wondering if this space is for you, and you start actually using it. I built Stay Aligned to be that space for people who have spent too long wondering. You do not have to wonder here.
These are not just topics I plan to write about. They are the reason this brand exists. I will be going deeper on all of them right here on the blog, and I hope you will be part of those conversations.
Thank You for Being Part of This
Whether you have been following my work for a while or you just found us today, I am grateful you are here. This community means everything to me. I am here to support you every step of the way.
Stay aligned, one day at a time.
With love, Alesandra Folks
